This is an animatic for a 15 second animation about an escaped convict on the run.

I've noticed that the quality is low after uploading the video file and when viewed it skips frames.
Here's description of animatic to fill in for missing frames:

Escaped convict enters, running in from right side of frame up to the crates.

He spins around startled to hear police sirens then hids behind crates.

Police car zooms by and then the escaped convict exits on left side of frame.

Tools used:

Maya 8.5 (Environent Model)
Photoshop CS3 (Characters Sketches)

sup Rstovall,

I modelled and textured the background environment in Maya then took a rendered jpg image of it and put it in photoshop where I used the brush tool to draw the thumbnails of my character acting to plan out the story.

I was able to use the same background environment I originally modelled for the animatic as my background for my actual animation. I retextured some buildings, tweaked modelled a couple a couple buildings and played around with the lighting for the final.

Thanks for checking out the gallery. :)
